When first entering the code provided via email, it returned with an error claiming the key had already been activated. This left me suspicious, so I contacted the seller in hope of resolving the problem. They managed to send me a code based on my installation ID and now Windows 10 Pro has been activated on my new PC. This is definitely something to consider going for and is well worth the money (compared to a full price key). 10/10

I am very happy with this product. I was rebuilding my desktop after buying an SSD and just in case I collected the Windows key off the current system using some freeware. This failed and on contacting Microsoft I ended up feeling like a criminal because I had a “custom build”. I found this product at the best price and within the Windows 10 build I’d made I went to: Settings, Activation, Update product key, Change product key…and entered the key purchased here. I wanted to encrypt the SSD in my new Lenovo laptop (710S Plus – lovely machine by the way). I knew the upgrade from Home to Pro was around £100 so I thought I’d see if I could save a few quid by searching on Amazon rather than just purchasing on the Windows Store. I thought I might be able to save a tenner or so. I was astonished to find this option and was somewhat dubious (if it sounds too good to be true…!) but thought it was worth a shot. If it didn’t work then hey it was £20 and I could always get in touch with Amazon over it.So at around 1am this morning I placed the order and then went to bed. I woke up and went to work and found that the activation code had been sent to me less than two hours after I placed the order – even in the middle of the night. I was at work and my laptop was at home so I had to wait until I got home to activate. I popped in the activation code, said code was accepted, Windows 10 Pro activated, extra features downloaded and installed and now I’m sat here with my SSD encrypted and feeling happy I didn’t pay the MS list price. It’s possible I may play with Hyper-V a bit but BitLocker is the main reason I wanted Pro and it’s quite likely it’s the only feature of Pro I’ll ever really use on this machine as it’s for home use – maybe Remote Desktop too, but difficult to justify £100 or more just for BitLocker at any rate.Delighted this worked although the seller specified a requirement to activate the product code within three days which makes me think that if I ever needed to reactivate I might run into problems? But for twenty quid… am I really that bothered? I’ll take an image of my system partition and hope I never need to use it.Right now, very happy indeed.

Email with key (it’s on the invoice) arrived within 30 minutes (during business hours it comes faster I suspect.Activation did say that it had already been used but that is the nature of these codes. I have to phone Microsoft whenever I want to reinstall my other copy of windows in Parallels on my mac because Activation knows it was licensed to another computer. It seems these licences are the same. The process is painless, phone Microsoft Activation, read out a long number, type one in they read back to you, job done. They don’t care about where you got the key or why you are calling.To save £90 and get the same level of license it’s worth that bit extra technical effort and a phone call. Recommend highly.Also customer support within minutes by email (again office hours) so top marks for that too.

Very nice one of Microsoft best ops systems especially with direct x12 and double frame rates for gamers and this version of windows doesn’t kick your mouse and keyboard out and has all the latest drivers for r9 390 rx 480 fury and yes gtx 970 gtx1060 and gtx 1080

This is by far the best way to resurrect W10 PRO if you have a crash, as I did.Having already made a recovery USB and an ISO USB as backup(download from MS site, save in the USB or burn a DVD)it was easy to reinstall W10 PRO then copy and paste the key. My crash hadwiped out the HD and board so new ones were required hence MS said I neededto activate W10 PRO again. Anyway, although it takes a while todo the result is a brand spanking new copy which zips along like crazy. Excellent job.

I waited a few hours before getting an email with the product key. I processed all the Windows 10 Home updates on my new Samsung Galaxy Book first before attempting this (which took forever).. then.. it worked! The instructions were clear and are pretty basic. Weirdly, the upgrade did not work on the first attempt.. not sure if I got the code wrong, or you just need to try it twice.

When this product is purchased from Amazon, it is sealed and the Windows Activation Key is hidden; you need to scratch card, to reveal the activation key. I wouldn’t buy it from any other, less trusted seller.

This is the cheapest option to do a fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro, just remember that as it’s a system builders version you aren’t eligible for technical support, so unless you’re experienced in reinstalling an OS you would be better off getting a professional to install a retail version instead.

Have purchased this twice now for different computers. Key arrives very quickly. Just make sure that you are logged in with a Microsoft admin account if you have more than one user account running on a computer. It won’t let you upgrade unless you do and won’t recognize the key. Everything worked fine. I simply downloaded Windows 10 from the Microsoft website (link was provided via email from the seller) and the supplied key activated my copy of Windows on the first attempt no problem at all.Note that my activation key was posted to me rather than emailed direct, so there was a couple of days waiting before I could activate Windows but that was no problem.

There has been some issues with licence already activated on other devices recently, which was the case when I installed this, got in touch with Amazon and they told me to contact Microsoft, which i did and it was sorted in exactly 9 minutes.As for windows 10, although I’ve only been using it for a few hours, so far so good! Although you can tell a lot of the features are aimed towards tablets (I’ve installed on PC), it still has great functionality and was shocked to find it had installed all the drivers for my graphics card, mouse, network adapter, keyboard etc automatically (saved me a job!). Not as good as Windows 7 yet… but close!

to be honest when I tried to install,first time I killed off the the install, was running for 2 hours at 0%, windows installer in task manager, PC rebooted, tried again and it worked, but I have the IT knowledge, others do not, my expertise is with Unix, self taught with windows and windows server, final result on the install worked

4 months later and my windows 10 custom built PC is still working with no issues. It gets all required updates like you would expect. This is a great option for people building their own Computers. Just to clarify this is genuine software but is OEM so the licence will only ever work on the original motherboard you installed it on. I have replaced the hard drive since and copied this windows over to a new SSD and worked a treat.

Key worked first time on a new clean install of Windows 10 via the Update and Security settings screen.I suspect these keys are Windows 8 keys dumped by disgruntled business users when they found all the problems with Win 8. These are legally transferable in the EU thanks to a recent European Court ruling that outlawed typical sofware terms limiting use to the original purchaser. This may no longer be available to UK buyers after Brexit!

This worked perfectly, I upgraded my (unactivated) Windows 10 Home edition downloaded and installed direct from the Microsoft website, to Windows 10 Pro using the GENERIC key supplied in the instructions, then I changed the product key for the unique one supplied and it activated without any problems. Worked perfectly. I downloaded the Windows 10 Home ISO from the Microsoft website, then copied it to a (bootable) USB.Once Windows 10 is installed, upgrade to Pro using the default key (not the one from Amazon) provided by Microsoft ([…]). THEN once you’ve upgraded to Pro you just enter the key you bought from Amazon and it will activate Windows 10 Pro.

Bought from seller “Enduro”As mentioned in other reviews, it’s a slightly bizarre process by which you are sent a Windows 10 Pro key in the post (this took 12 days to arrive, so plan ahead). If doing a clean install like I was then you just download windows directly from Microsoft’s site onto e.g. a USB drive using the windows tool to create an install drive. Then simply install (the instructions say to use a generic windows 10 key they provide, then activate using the product key you have bought – not sure if this step is necessary and if you could just input your purchased key straight away but I did follow it just to be sure).I now have my new PC setup with windows 10 pro, and the install activated correctly with the provided product key.Slightly slow process waiting for the little card with a product key on, but can’t argue with the value for money.

No Complaints at all. This license key took me from a “nagging” unlicensed windows 81. installation on my BootCamp Mac to a full Windows 10 partition.I had a worrying moment when the accompanying letter stated that only the specified version would work, but in the end I had no problems – Unless you count the Win10 install process which takes hours and hours to complete, but that’s irrelevant to this license key!I used the key (which arrived by post within a day) to stabilise my 8.1 install and then just used the Windows upgrade option to get to Windows 10. I don’t know if it is Win 10 Pro as stated in the key documentation, but I’m not worried about that for now. As a bonus, my printer (Dell V305w) which did not work under Win 8.1 is now working under 10 – yay!I know there are dodgy licenses around that only work for a certain amount of time so I will be keeping fingers crossed on this one. I’ll comment in 3 month’s time!UPDATE – Yep, all good!

Received email a few hours after ordering (wasnt automatic), confirming the key would be mailed to me, however the code was also written on the invoice pdf. I entered the activation key and received an error that the code had already been used (this can happen with bulk enterprise OEM keys), i followed the advice to contact microsoft telephone activation (start->run->slui 4->country->call number) and they validated the key and gave me the code to activate windows. A small effort for a £10 copy of windows, great product/service.

The product key is actually hidden on the sticker and needed scratching off, like a scratch card, to expose the product key. I purchased from Zestypro Ltd who had good reviews. They actually sent me a OEI version which is slightly different from OEM, but technically slightly better. When you check the version in windows after install it reports it as a full retail version so I believe you could get support from Microsoft if you wanted where you cant with the OEM version. The important thing is it was not the volume licencing type. I recommend selecting who supplies it and pick someone with good reviews

Worked perfectly. An email at first was in German, but online translators fixed that. Turned out to be a confirmation / reference of order type thing, and also included a link to the Windows 10 online download. Then the Key came through the post, worked perfectly. Could not have been better. (NOTE USB 3.0 IS NOT COMPATIBLE FOR WINDOWS 10 INSTALLATION MEDIA! Not that it has anything to do with this product here, but very work noting USB 2 / DVD etc works fine though). Would purchase this again!

Key worked first time on a new clean install of Windows 10 via the Update and Security settings screen.I suspect these keys are Windows 8 keys dumped by disgruntled business users when they found all the problems with Win 8. These are legally transferable in the EU thanks to a recent European Court ruling that outlawed typical sofware terms limiting use to the original purchaser. This may no longer be available to UK buyers after Brexit!

Fantastic price for OEM version.Delivered next day – great.First installation on an SSD said it hard worked, but when I rebooted, there was no OS on the SSD – very odd.Second installation worked OK and is still working.Remember to attach your wifi dongle before installing as Win10 will recognise it during installation and allow you to register the product at the same time.For me Win 10 seems to be a good step forward – takes the Win 8 interface and makes it optional and gives you a start menu which is more like Win 7 – so you can pick the UI you prefer. Does take some getting used to as features are renamed and accessible in different ways – but google solves questions rapidly.Have found a few quirks which Microsoft need to resolve, eg the video playback app does not give you any sound, so you have to find Windows Media player – which is better but hidden !!!!And one very annoying feature – Storage Groups only seems to work on empty HDDs – so a RAID installation I had on the old Win 7 PC has not been fully migrated across – I just have 2 identical but separate HDDs . . . . . . . . luckily, no data lost as I broke the raid before upgrading. I have not yet had the time to reformat them, create a new RAID and then copy the data back from back up

The Product key was supplied by email about 90 minutes after placing the order, and I now have Windows 10 Pro. The update took 15 minutes on my elderly laptop. The instructions provided are quite old, and I would recommend searching for Microsoft’s updated guidance on performing the upgrade. I already had the 2017 Fall Creators Update installed (version 1709) and all I had to do was go to Settings>Update & Security>Activation and enter the new key.

Comes with a serial key, which is a small sticker on the outside of the card envelop, I didn’t see it, my daughter pointed it out, didn’t live that one down for a while. But the OS is the real deal.

The seller text me (through Amazon) to ask me to check my spam. Ok, it’s a bit weird. You wait a few days and get a random letter from Germany.In it, is your Windows 10 Sticker with CD Key on it. You get the ISO fresh from Microsoft’s website (make sure to get build 1607 or higher) as this self contains the anniversary update. Install it then Activate with the key given and it activates perfectly fine. A lot cheaper than buying either a Retail copy or your own OEM copy.My guess is these companies selling it are either PC builders or suppliers who are ordering say Fresh PC’s which come with Windows, reformatting them then passing on the licenses to us. It happens all the time, even at my work we get Dell deliver and they all have Windows 10 CD Keys stuck on them (then the admin guys quickly rip them off) and install the corporate Windows 7 install. As such, I’m guessing they are doing exactly the same. Is it legal? Who knows. I’m sure Microsoft won’t approve of it but at the end of the day its a valid license that activates and that’s good enough considering the saving.Put it this way, for the £25-30 they sell for here, its a fraction of the cost of a retail Home Edition, and this gives you Pro with Remote Desktop and Domain joining support. Considering Windows 10 is the last major release and now it’s just updates on updates, you got yourself a lifetime license 🙂

Extremely cheap for this. NOTE this is a deactivated product key. To have it activated you need to contact Microsoft support and send them the code, however it does work. If you don’t notice the product key, it is on the invoice you are sent. Overall a good experience with strong customer service.

Looks like a genuine Microsoft product with instalation DVD and licence key on a peel-off sticker to attach to your built system.I created a boot USB and installed my system of that with zero issues or hiccups.If you are building your own system (or have a system with no OS installed) and want to install Windows 10 Professional this is definitely a product ot consider.It is possible to buy ‘just the activation code’ from other sellers for about a quarter of the price which they then deliver by email but then you have no proof you have purchsed an original product from Microsoft.As far as I can tell this is the genuine article, and it works.

I, like a few others commenting here, was sceptical as regards the legitimacy of this offering, and assumed that Amazon would shut down dodgy traders. So based on that I bought two of these licences and I have used one already with some success.Having said that there was one fly in my ointment; with that being the DVD had a flaw on it and wouldn’t install so I had to download “Windows 10 x64 Home Single Language” from Microsoft in order to allow me to install. Once the installation was complete I activated it and when applied and accepted it ‘upgraded’ the installation to “Windows 10 Pro Education”. To be honest I wasn’t expecting this but I am happy with it.

This appears to be an OEM version, I made a Windows 10 ISO on another computer using the Microsoft media creation tool and then using Rufus I converted it onto a USB flash drive and then installed it onto a formatted SSD. I used the key and activated it without problems.This was done on August 1st. ( No upgrading Windows 7/8 here ) 30 quid is an absolute bargain for the pro version of 10 but don’t forget you can only activate it on ONE computer.

Like everybody else I was weary of this due to price. But I received key within 30 mins. Went control panel updates activation and selected update. This took me MS shop. Where there was option to enter key for PRO. Entered new key which was accepted after about a minute. Then My system updated took about 30min. After update. Checked control panel and it showed it was now PRO. Ran disc cleanup to get rid of all installation setups etc.

Be prepared: your activation key comes in a brown envelope – and is printed on a little card – but it worked! I had already downloaded Windows 10 Pro from MS so just entered the code in Settings>Activation that was it, all for less than £30. Delivered the next day too.
